This is my first time installing a wood floor. I am installing Bruce 3/4 x 2 1/4 in the kitchen. I have put down the starter strip as directed on a OSB clean & level subfloor. I'm now on the 4th row. I'm having problem ususally one area of each is not meeting up tightly to the previous row. You can see down through the toung & groove despite my tapping it in with a rubber mallet and a scrap piece of flooring. My understanding is that all of these boards are suppose to be snug against the other. I've rechecked my first strip & that's not the problem besides I'm having this problem on one end in one row & then on the other end or the middle of the next row. I've rejected severl boards because they are bowed or angled but the oncs I used were straight, so I'm confused as to where the problem is coming from & how to fix it. I can't go any further until I find a solution. I would really appreciate any help & advice you can offer me! Sincerely, T. Clarke
