Blood that has been soaked into the wood may be impossible to remove. You may need to replace the wood. Professionals sometimes remove pieces from closets or inconspicuous areas because new wood would be next to impossible to match. You may however try hydrogen peroxide to see if it will lighten the stain. Good luck.
